CANE - GEORGE NADER WALKING CANE

This is a walking cane George Nader used for a short time when he had eye surgery.  He had this with him everywhere during this period.

Cane / Seat

This is a fun one!!!!

It is a Cane that can also be used as a seat.   All you do is open the butterfly top, then unscrew the disc from the shaft and screw it in on the bottom so it won't pierce too far into the dirt or grass where ever you may be. 

It is made from cast aluminum and hard wood. On the outside the wood is carved.

Made in India. 

It measures 35.5" closed and 30" open.

The leather is worn off the handles, there is just one piece left. 

It is very old.

Carved Wood Asian Box- Round

Here is a carved wooden man Rock picked up during his travels.  It is from Singapore.  It is signed. The hat is the lid.

Measures:  6.5" h. x 5" w.

Carved Wooden Man

Here is a carved wooden man Rock picked up during his travels.  It is probably from Singapore as many of the other items similar are from the same place. Has a  little crack by feet of man.

Measures:  7.5" h. x 4" w.

Christmas Decorations

Christmas decoration  set. This set is made in GERMANY.  This set is comprised of 37 pieces.  From the three wise men to baby jesus, from camels to farm animals and from sheep hearders to a bird house or a well.  Rock Hudson loved the holidays and especially Christmas.  He went all out on his decorations and here is an example of that.

Christmas Decorations - Fabulous with six angels!!!

WHAT A FIND!!!!!

I just un-earthed this piece of candy from a box I recently opened.

It is a Christmas Decoration, made in Japan,  that you fill with water and six angels float around the porcelan circle. 

I think it is the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus in the center.  

The ring is about 12.5" in Dia.

The whole set is very old and is in excellent condition.   In  my upcoming books, I tell what it was like for Rock during the Holidays.  He absoutly adored them, especially Christmas.

Citreon Patch

Here is another patch.  It is for the car, the Citroen.   I never saw Rock with one, nor do I know that he ever owned one.   But, this is one of his patches.

COIN PILL CONTAINER C. 1780

This is another fun find.

I have seen these kind of things before.   They take a coin, cut it in half, and make little containers out of them.  It is a real coin!!!!
This is one Rock Would carry when he traveled.  He wasn't really a "pill taker", but he did take aspirin.  He always had them with him.

Great person to have around if you ever got a head ache!!

I think the coin is French,  I may be wrong.  It is stamped with a date, 1780.  It is in excellent condition and stays closed very well.

Once again, I didn't polish it or play around with it.  It is as I found it, minus the little sticky tape glue on the front.  I rubbed that off with my thumb.

I imagine it is silver like most coins of the day, though I never had it tested.
