"SCRAP BOOK" FROM THE MID 1800'S

OMG!!!

This is so facinating I find I can't put it down!!!!!!  It is a scrap book Rock had that I have not a clue where he got or the history.   It is stamped with his library stamp, "From the Library of Rock Hudson-RH" on a hand full of the pages as well as this scrap book as a home made insert and you find the stamp there as well.

THIS IS SO INTERESTING, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!

It is full of articles from about 1838-1860"s, pasted on the home made pages.   Back then, this is how people filled there shelves with information pertinant to themselves.  Kinda like your computer.

It is bound and has......let me count.....well over 100 pages, PLUS, the insert.   It seems to be broken up in to sections of different color.  There are notations in some one from a long time ago's hand.  Some of the pages in each section are empty as if the process was not complete.  Maybe one of Rock's distant relatives assembeled this and passed it down through the generations.  All  I can say is, WOW.

The book is large, it measures:  approx. 15" x 9" x 2.5"

3 CONTAINERS WITH PERFUME BOTTLES INSIDE.

Here is an interesting find.

I don't know much about it other than I am opening a box of Rocks things right now and it is filled with "Knick-Knacks".

I am selling the three of these together as a set.    They are little containers, that when unscrewed, reveal little perfume bottles.

The scents are old, dried up and don't smell  very good right now.

There are two that sort of match.  One is 3.5" tall and the other is 2.75" tall.  Both are about .75" in diameter.  The third is just over 3" tall and1.25" in diameter and the crystal bottle inside is fabulous.

I think that they are from France.   They are in excellent condition.

A Fabulous set of Fourteen, 19th c. Old spanish wine glasses

THIS A WONDERFUL SET WITH ALL THE PAPERWORK!!!!

It includes, "Fourteen-19TH Century, Old Spanish Wine Glasses." 

This set was Purchased by Rock Hudson on April 13, 1977. A copy of the receipt from Galerias De Antiguedades  Abelardo Linares, S.A. in Madrid Spain with photograph is included. Rock orignally purchased 38 glasses.  There are only 14 remaining.  Also included, is mail correspondence, postal receipt that are signed and stamped, business card, etc. . Glasses are all hand made and vary in size.
