What ever it is....it sure is nice! I think that this is some sort of hange.r What it's use was, I am not sure. But.....Rock used it as a plant hanger. It is adjustable and goes from about 20" to about 30". It is approx. 6.5" in dia. and is very heavy. Looks to be very old as well. The adjustment works perfectly, the Patina is wonderful and this piece adds class to anyone's home.

Here is a very old picture frame. I photographed them as I pulled them from the box so they are a bit dusty and maybe stained. THE NEWSPAPER WRAPPED AROUND ALL THESE FRAMES WAS FROM 1985 WHEN ROCK PASSED. IF THE GLASS IS MISSING OR BROKEN, I WILL REPLACE IT FOR YOU. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE PHOTOS AFTER I POLISH THEM UP, PLEASE, JUST ASK!!! IT WILL BE NO PROBLEM!! THAT IS WHAT I AM HERE FOR!!!! They clean up nicely. I also blurred out the photos or removed them as I will be selling them seperately after I use them in another of my books first. This frame is for an FIVE BY SEVEN INCH photograph. I imagine the frame is near or over 100 years old, so it is in good shape for its age. And..., the dings and nicks all have stories of their own, I am sure.
