COIN PILL CONTAINER C. 1780

This is another fun find.

I have seen these kind of things before.   They take a coin, cut it in half, and make little containers out of them.  It is a real coin!!!!
This is one Rock Would carry when he traveled.  He wasn't really a "pill taker", but he did take aspirin.  He always had them with him.

Great person to have around if you ever got a head ache!!

I think the coin is French,  I may be wrong.  It is stamped with a date, 1780.  It is in excellent condition and stays closed very well.

Once again, I didn't polish it or play around with it.  It is as I found it, minus the little sticky tape glue on the front.  I rubbed that off with my thumb.

I imagine it is silver like most coins of the day, though I never had it tested.

Collapsable Camping Cup

Collapsible camping cup.  This item was picked up by Rock when he was on location of a film.  Before plastic bottles they had fresh water coolers and Paper or Styrofoam cups. His assistants would carry his cup for him.

Cross Pen 14k gold filled-refillable

Here is a fun find!!!!!

It is a Cross Pen and engraved on the top is 1/20 14k gold filled.  It was used by Rock for years to sign many of his photos and just autographs to his fans. It was well used and has a few little hand dents.  Probably Rock's fingers made them.

It is in good condition.  Needs refilled and hydrated.

THIS IS FUN!!!!

ROCK HAD THIS ON HIS DESK AND IN IT HE KEPT HIS RETURN ADDRESS LABELS HE PUT ON HIS MAIL.  THE CONTAINER STILL HAS A FEW INSIDE THAT COME WITH THIS.   IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND IS NOT SIGNED THAT I CAN SEE.

DRAGON HORN

Here is something very fun.

It is a Dragon Horn!!!  Yes, that is what I said......a Dragon Horn!

It is very heavy and made of solid brass and copper.  I don't know of the story behind it thus far, but I am sure it is a good one.  In my files I will try and look for a receipt or some other sort of document(s) that pertain to this piece.

It is wonderful though and very intricate.  It is also very heavy.
