PRESS BOOK FOR MONSOON

Here is a press book for George Nader's film, Monsoon.  It is full of examples of other movie posters and stories about the film and actor.  Open it measures 28" x 21".  The cover is in two pieces but is otherwise in great condition.

Here is a wonderful movie poster of Rock Hudson and Paula Prentiss.  It is 36"l. x 14" w. 

It is signed by Paula Prentiss and one thing to remember is that it is Rock Hudson's copy of this poster and the one he had hanging in his theatre.  Not from a store or other place.

HERE IS A FUN HISTORICAL FIND!!!

This is what is left of Rock Hudsons vast VCR tape collection.  It is 107 tapes and approximately 200 films, events and what ever else he wanted to put on tape.

Rock was known as having a vast album, reel-to-reel music and tape collection.  Most was stolen before he passed.  I do have some albums and reel to reels. 

One of my duties in the early to mid 80's was to convert 16 mm film and bought or borrowed films from the studios to VHS tapes. Create a collection.  I sat along side Rock for hours making these tapes.  The list that comes with this item is full of his writings, additions, and notes.  It is 15 pages worth.  He would add what he wanted and how to file it, his way. The tapes that have the writing on them are also in Rocks hand.  He was close to this and would watch films almost daily. 

THE TAPES ARE OVER 26 YEARS OLD AND MAY NOT PLAY THE SAME AS WHEN THEY WERE FRESH.  They were strored properly. 

This was his collection and his memory and is a very personal part or Rock.

A WHOLE SET.....

This is a Photo box that was sent to George Nader's Parents and is filled with very personal Items.  It is labeled in George's hand and is filled with such things as Newspaper adds that show where George's films are being aired, a letter from a German fan to George, A card from George to his people back home, A hand written set of notes from George's mother, a western union telegram from George Nader to his parents, a brochure from a hotel that George stayed at in Germany, and a map of Switzerland that he used while driving through that country.

WOW, WHAT A FIND!!!!

I kept it exactly as I found it. 

For all you George Nader fans out there, this is the pot of gold!!!

Scuba-1963

Here is a very fun find.....

This is the catalogue and letter from the dive shop for Rock to buy two sets of scuba equipment.  SCUBA ia an acronym standing for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.  It was developed by Jacques Cousteau.  

With this package I have (i will add photos later) some of Rock's equipment.  So far I have found the weight belt, mask, fins,?

Cane / Seat

This is a fun one!!!!

It is a Cane that can also be used as a seat.   All you do is open the butterfly top, then unscrew the disc from the shaft and screw it in on the bottom so it won't pierce too far into the dirt or grass where ever you may be. 

It is made from cast aluminum and hard wood. On the outside the wood is carved.

Made in India. 

It measures 35.5" closed and 30" open.

The leather is worn off the handles, there is just one piece left. 

It is very old.

Here is a wonderful find!!!

This is a pair of shorts bought by Rock Hudson but never worn.  They still have the original packaging and labeling.  They are a size 36 and are in new condition.

JEWELRY - JADE BRACELET

Here is a beautiful Jade Bracelet.  It came from the jewelry box of George Nader. Probably his mothers.  He kept her belongings his whole life.  She was loved dearly by him.  A wonderful rusty red color.

Measures: 3.36" o.d. and  2.65" i.d. and weighs:  33.7 gms.

JEWELRY - PEARL AND GOLD PLATED NECKLACE 29" LONG

This is a necklace from Rock Hudsons jewelry box.  It most likely was his mothers.  It is Gold plated and I think cultured pearls.  It is 29" long and weighs 11.9 gms.

JEWELRY - 14K GOLD BRACELET

This is a Bracelet fro the jewelry box of George Nader.  It is 7.5" long and weighs 8.9 gms.  It is stamped 14k.

I did not polish it for the pictures.  I don't know if it really is 14k though it is stamped.  Gold does not usually tarnish.  I am selling it as gold and would guarantee that.
