Panasonic 8 band short wave double superheterodyne radio.  This was the move around / emergency radio at The Castle.  In the photograph you see Tom Clark sitting nex to it by the pool.  Tom was Rocks partner and they lived together for 18 years.

Sterno camping stove with two cans of Sterno fuel.  Rock Hudson and others his age grew up in a time when people  prepared for  catastrophys.  They hoarded provisions as they weren't as easy to come by as they are today.  People today have let there guard down too much and should prepare a bit more than they do.  Fuel cells are still full even with the age they are.
