Sterno camping stove with two cans of Sterno fuel.  Rock Hudson and others his age grew up in a time when people  prepared for  catastrophys.  They hoarded provisions as they weren't as easy to come by as they are today.  People today have let there guard down too much and should prepare a bit more than they do.  Fuel cells are still full even with the age they are.

TAMBOURINE

This is another wonderful find from a box with Rock Hudson's musical instruments!!!

This is a tambourine that Rock use to use to keep melody while playing music at his parties.  Just about everybody that is anybody has used this tambourine while tying one on at one of Rock's musical parties.

The Golden Blade-Lobby Card-Rock Hudson

THIS IS GREAT AS IT IS FROM ROCK HUDSON'S HOME.  IT HUNG IN HIS THEATRE.

It is a lobby card that measures 11" x 14" and is in excellent condition.  It is for his film "THE GOLDEN BLADE" that also starred PIPER LAURIE.

Again, this is not from some store, it is actually the one that Rock himself owned and had for his own enjoyment.

The Lawless Breed-Rock Hudson-Showman's Manual

This is a showman's manual from Rock Hudson's film "THE LAWLESS BREED",   with costars Julia Adams, Mary Castle, John Mc Intire and Hugh O'Brian.

It is in fair condition and open it measures 18" x 24".

A very personal and wonderful find. It is straight from the files of Rock Hudson.

Toothbrush Closet

Here is another fun find...... probably from Rock's boat as well.

I can't see him having this in his home.  It is a toothbrush closet made from plastic.  It would seperate toothbrushes saving you from any germs.   Sounds more and more like the boat thing.  It looks as though it is from the 50's which is when he had his boat.

UNDERTOW - ROCK HUDSON - SHOWMAN'S MANUAL

HERE IS A FUN ONE!!!

It is a showman's manual from Rock Hudson's film "Undertow".  The film co-stars Scott Brady, John Russell, Dorothy Hart, Peggy Dow and Bruce Bennett.  Rock doesn't even get "starring role" credit.  It was one of his first films done in 1949. 

It is in fair condition

This is a United States Tennis Academy patch.  Once again, I find these things in boxes that i am currently unpacking of Rock's.  They have been packed for decades.   It is like a treasure hunt.

WOODEN JEWELRY BOX FROM INDONESIA

THIS IS FUN!!!

IT IS A JEWELRY BOX THAT ROCK PICKED UP AND KEPT IN HIS SPARE BEDROOM.  

IN IT WERE CUFFLINKS, TIE CLIPS, MONEY, MONEY CLIPS, ETC.  

HE TOLD ME IT WAS FROM INDONESIA AND WAS MADE FROM A VERY RARE WOOD.  I THINK HE TOLD ME IT WAS KAPALAN WOOD.

MEASURES 11.75" X 8" X 3.75" AND HAS A PULLOUT PIECE.
