GEORGE NADER - LADY GODIVA OF COVENTRY - 1954 - FINAL SCREENPLAYPrice: $ 750.00 (Scripts » George Nader) | ||||
Here is another of George Nader's Scripts. It is full of his notes to himself and for the Charactor he portrays. There are many of them. A wonderful piece to any collection! One of George Nader's trademarks was when he finished filming a page of the script, he would fold it in half. I left them that way rather than unfold them. A lot of the pages might appeared to be wrinkled, they are, and that would be from the constant going over them to memorize lines and action. SYNOPSIS: In 11th-century England, King Edward the Confessor wants saxon Lord Leofric to marry a despised Norman woman, and has him jailed when he refuses. In jail, he meets Godiva, the sheriff's daughter, and soon they are wed. The times are turbulent and Godiva proves a militant bride; unhistorically, unrest between the Anglo-Saxon populace and the increasingly influential Norman French lead to her famous ride.
