BRONZE ships bell c. 1856.  Rock Hudson loved his Mediterranean home.  It was decorated to the "T" in this style. It was continually featured in magazines and newspapers for being the closest Mediterranean style home on the west coast.  He also loved the nautical theme.  That also had to be of the same style.  This bell is from an old Spanish ship. Comes with A Certificate of Authenticity.

Rock Hudson's Classical Marble Statuary

A TRULY WONDERFUL FIND AND A PIECE OF HISTORY!!!!!

This is A Marble panel depicting a Satyr raping a Nymph.

In Greek Mythology, Satyres are half-human, half-beast deities of the woods and mountains.  They usually have a goat's tail, flanks and hooves.  Since they are the companions of Dionysus, the god of wine, they spend their time drinking, dancing, and chasing Nymphs,  who are female spirits of nature.

This panel was bought  by Rock on one of his shopping trips to Europe and was part of the decoration of his home in Beverly Hills.  The panel has been affixed at the back to A wooden shadowbox frame for safekeeping, which can be easily removed.

Crystal and brass lockable box.  Chip on front right corner. Rock used to keep this box on the living room table and fill it with cigarettes.  Rock Hudson would constantly redecorate his home by adding or moving things around. In the enclosed picture the box is in a bathroom on the counter.  It made it's way in to most of the rooms in Rock Hudsons home.  Most of the time in the Living Room.  Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Green tinted everest expidition glasses c. 1900

Green Tinted Everest Expidition Glasses C. 1900.  Rock Hudson wore these glasses when doing his outdoor activities such as water skiing, snow skiing, boating, etc.  They have little bubbles in the glass as they were hand blown.  This didn't seem to bug him.  He loved their style.

Half globe transparent green candle holder.  There is a fischer inside of the glass.  It doesn't come out to the outside, but you can see it in the most recent photos I added. 

It is still a wonderful piece and I adjusted the price greatly.
