Black Vinyl and Chrome Folding Chairs

Here is another very personal Item of Rock Hudson's.

This is a set of two (2) chairs.  These were pool chairs, spread through the courtyard that Rock used often.  They fold up.   The chrome has rust on it and the vinol is not in the best condition.  One arm is missing a piece. 

They still are strong enough to sit in on a daily basis.  Another project from me.   Or, you can just keep them the way they are.

COFFEE TABLE

Here is a wonderful piece!!!!

It is a coffee table that has been in many of Rock's homes.   I am sure I have photos of it from Newport Beach to Beverly Hills.   It is 42" x 42" x 16" and is very solid.   It has wonderful sturdy brass braces on the legs and is strong enough to hold up a house!

ROCK HUDSON - OLD WOODEN DOORS

DOORS FROM THE SECOND BEDROOM OF THE CASTLE KNOWN AS TIJUANA!!!!!

These are wonderful old wooden doors.  I have the full hinges as well (not photographed).  They were in Rock Hudson's bedroom he named "Tijuana".  He named it this for its red colors and feel.  They are very old and were not polished for these photos,  why? 

I don't know!  FORGOT TOO!!

ROCK HAD THIS TABLE FOR DECADES!!!!ALL OF HIS FAMOUS GUESTS WOULD REMEMBER THIS ONE AS IT IS SO UNIQUE AND WAS ALWAYS A CONVERSATION PIECE AT HIS PARTIES!!!!

This is a fabulous piece.  It is shown in the black and white photos in Rock Hudson's New Port Beach, Ca. Home.  He then moved it to his Beverly Hills, Ca. home in 1962.   Check out Don Rickles in the back ground, classic!!!!

IT'S COLORS ARE FABULOUS!!!!THE PATINA IS DIVINE!!!!

He owned this piece for at least 3 decades before his passing.  He used it as a coffee table in the living room and then as a table on his patio at his Beverly Hills home.  Though it was used as a table, I'm pretty sure that it had another use.  Everyone would always try to guess.   I just don't know what. It is in excellent condition. It is also very heavy.  I will also include a copy of the photos at Rocks home with the table.

Three plexiglas Art Stands.  Rock Hudson had them in his dining room with Art Pieces on them.  You will also see photos of them through out the home in various other places.  They are very Heavy Duty and wil hold hundreds of pounds if needed, no problem.  In the photographs they are not polished.  They polish up wonderfully.  A lot of the furniture items that are in my web site have not been polished for the photos.  They too polish up nicely.

A BEAUTIFUL HANDCRAFTED - VERY UNIQUE - CONVERSATION PIECE OF ROCK HUDSON'S!!!!

Dresser from the Home of Rock Hudson.  A wonderful piece.  A very unique piece.  It has a half-round top, sit's flat against the wall and has a hidden drawer that is behind the two curved wooden doors with two sections.  It also has two open shelves under the hidden drawer that have three sections each.

ROCK HUDSON Ottoman-Long with No Cushion

THIS IS A WONDERFUL ITEM ROCK HAD FOR DECADES AND USED OFTEN, A CLASSIC PIECE!!!!!

Ottoman-long with no cushion.  This piece is not the one in the photos but is very similar. Both ottomans are very old.  The one in the photos, shown in  his Hollywood Hills home in the early 1950's is the same style as the one for sale.   This Mediterranean style flowed through his homes up till his final home "The Castle." 

It has been in disrepair for decades.  It is the way he used it.  He was going to but never had upholstered, yet he had it well over 35 years.  Needs new caning.  It looks great and is a very handsome piece for anyone.

Here is a wonderful Sun Dial with wonderful Patina.  Measures 7.5" in diameter.  Rock had this out by his pool on his wooden deck overhanging his hillside.  The part that sticks up is broken and has been since Rock had it.  It still tells time with it's shadow.

Where the gnomon was (the part that casts the shadow), there remains a bit of a stub which still casts a bit of a shadow. But this would make a  one-of-a-kind deck or yard ornament you could brag about to all your friends while out cooking on your grill!

VERY OLD NAILS FROM OLD CHURCH BENCH

These are great.   I sold an old church bench at auction and it was getting weak in structure.   Some of the nails would fall out, but I kept them in a bag.  In the photos below I show the bench at my home and at Rock's home.  I was told that the bench was 800 - 1,000 years old and from an old Spanish Church.  These nails are very old.   Here is a link to the bench on my site and in the photos you can see the nails and also the ones missing.  http://www.rock-hudson-estate-collection.com/furniture/old-church-bench.html

The EIGHT nails are between 2" and 4.5" long.
