HERE IS A SET OF RECEIPTS AND BILLS FOR ROCK'S SUBSCRIPTION TO THE ACADEMY PLAYERS DIRECTORY.  IT IS FROM 1967.

I noticed that the first three scans did not come out completely.  This six piece set is much more attractive than it looks.

This two piece set has a Check Request and a letter explaining what it is for.  The letter is hand signed by the secretary to Richard A. Shepherd, Peggy Randall.  With a note to "Send To Rock".  It is dated October 07 & 10,1966, as well as November 01, 1966.

Here is an interesting one.  It is a letter to Rock's Lawyer that says that Rock was featured in this publication naked.  Rock says "No way".   It is a three piece set and includes the publication of the magazine.

HOW COOL IS THIS!!??!!

This is a two piece set from Anthenum Publishers in New York on September 27, 1982 to Rock asking if he would share a few words for a book about John Wayne entitled: DUKE: A LOVE STORY.

It states in the letter that Rock knew the Duke well and asks if he would share something he felt.

HE DID!!! ON OCTOBER 26, 1982 AND THIS IS WHAT HE WROTE:

I WORKED WITH JOHN WAYNE, THE LEGEND -- THIS BOOK REVEALS JOHN WAYNE, THE MAN".

Then he Signed it. 

WOW!!

NOTE:      ALL THE DOCUMENTS IN THE DOCUMENTS AND AWARDS SECTION ARE FROM ROCK HUDSON'S PERSONAL FILES.

I HAVE FOUND OTHER COPIES OF SIMILAR DOCUMENTS OUT THERE.

THEY ARE PROBABLY THE OTHER PARTIES COPIES.

This is a wonderful magazine that is an industry favorite.  It is a copy of the 1961/1962 edition of the magazine full of articles and photos.  It is embossed with Rock Hudsons library stamp.  Still has subscription card inside.

HAS ROCKS WRITING ON THE COVER WHERE HE WRITES HIS NAME AND THE PAGES HE IS ON!!!!

On the back page is an advertisement for a film Rodgers and Hammerstein's  "State Fair"  which stars Pamela Tiffin who was also a friend of Rocks.  We have photographs of her escorting Rock to the 1966 Canne Film Festival.

Rock took out an add in this publication on May 18, 1960. 

It isA negro Newsaper that by that time had been in publication for 80 years. 

Included is a copy of the add.
