The Thalians

The Thalians was founded in 1955 by a group of young actors and allied professionals from the film industry who wanted to give back some of their blessings to the community. It is now headed by Debbie Reynolds.  They met at actress Jayne Mansfield’s home to discuss how they could use their time, talent and energy to help children with mental health problems. Taking the name from Thalia, the Muse of Comedy and the Shepherdess of straying and lost lambs, the first Hollywood “celebrity” charity was born, and just four short years later, The Thalians Clinic for Emotionally Disturbed Children at Mt. Sinai Hospital was established.

Three Boxes of One Hundred "9402 Beverly Crest" Envelopes

Three Boxes of envelopes that were Rock Hudson's personal stationary.  The address is 9402 Beverly Crest Dr. Beverly Hills, Ca.  90210.   (That famous zip code)  Each box has 100 envelopes in it.  They are still in their orignal boxes.  When Rock Hudson passed away in 1985, his property was purchased by Director John Landis.  The address still lives on.  Can be sold seperately or complete lot.  Price is per box. The envelopes are card size envelopes not letter.  Come with Certificate of Authentication.

2 boxes of price book sheets.  These are refills for one of Rock Hudson's daily ledgers.  He used it daily.  They will be paired up with the ledger at a later date.  Come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Universal Film Exchange, INC.

This two piece set includes a letter from Ben R. Watz of Universal Film Exchange for the taping of a Robert Wagner play for Rock Hudson.  Bob Wagner and Rock Hudson were good friends.

VICTOR SALMONES - SCUPTOR

This is a Booklet of the sculptures of VICTOR SALMONES.  Victor is an artist made famous by Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor.  The famous bronze sculptures in Rocks back yard were done by him.  This booklet is embossed with the Rock Hudson library of stamp and is from a showing to famous celebrities at Rocks Home in Beverly Hills, Ca.  Filled with pictures of Victors sculptures at Rocks home.  It has slight water damage.  Another piece from Rocks files.

This is a wonderful piece of Disneyana.

It is an old Disney Studios Commissary Menu.  It is in excellent condition.  Note the prices.  What happened?

It is inscribed and signed by?  Probably someone from Disney Studios  to Tom Clark, Rock Hudson's Life Partner.  It is a funny inscription.
