CONTRACT - 7 Pictures Corporation & Rock Hudson

In this fabulous file is an employment agreement  between Rock Hudson and 7 Pictures Corp.. It is full of Rock's hand notes and has at least 6 of Rocks signatures and at least 61 pages in it.

There are places where Rock initialed as well.

It is also signed by the president of 7 Pictures corp.Henry Ginsberg, Leo Kaplan,  as well as many other studio executives.  It is dated 1958.

These files are of historical interest to the Hollywood community and Rock Hudson fans alike.

Contract between Ken Hodge and Rock Hudson

This is a contract between Kenneth Hodge and Rock Hudson to release A contract between them for the consideration of $1200.00.  It is signed by Roy H. Fitzgerald aka Rock Hudson and by Kenneth R. Hodge.  In his early days, before he was "Big" Rock had to sign contracts in this fashion.  After time he could just go by Rock Hudson.  But he didn't legally change his name till 1976.

There are three copies of the same contract. You have to look closely and compare the Signatures to really see the differance.  They are all originals from the typewritter as well, not carbon copies.

All are original with original signatures.  Come with Certificate of Authenticity.

Sold as a set: $1,100.00  or individually for $450.00 ea.

This is a Contract between Ken Hodge and Rock Hudson that they entered  on August 4, 1949 and for a $1,200.00 buy out, became null and void August 28, 1951.  There are three identical contracts.  If you look closely you can see the differences in the signatures.  They all are ORIGNALS not copies and the Signatures are ORIGNALS.  Each one is signed "Roy H. Fitzgerald aka Rock Hudson."  In 1951 Rock wasn't a big star yet.  He had to sign his aka.  Later, after "Magnificent Obsession," when he gained fame he could get away with just signing Rock Hudson.  He didn't legally change his name until 1976.

Contract for 2 Pictures - 7 Pictures & U.I. 1959- Historical!!!

In this file are the papers for an agreement between Universal International and Rock Hudson for a two picture deal in 1959.  It has over 5 signatures and is at leas 84 pages of content.  It is also signed by Producer Henry Ginsberg on multiple locations. 

A very great piece of Rock Hudson History for sure!!!

These files are what Rock Hudson lived, Loved and Did while he was in Life.

VERY PERSONAL, HISTORICAL, COLLECTABLE AND ARE THE ONLY IN THE WORLD.

They are like a book each and every one of them.

A chapter out of a person's life, this one being Rock Hudson.

I just randomly choose pages throughout the files to photograph.  My photos are not necessarily the key or important ones.  These files have so much from photos to maps to titles to contracts to booklets to more and more.

Contracts & Corres-A Quiet Couple-File

Here is the other part of "A QUIET COUPLE" contract.  This is a very full file.

It is 156 pages and has at least 4 signatures by Rock Hudson and many signatures by other players involved. 

This again, is a wonderful piece of history.  Full of annotations and corrections.

All the negotioations, letters back and forth from Rock, his lawyers, the studios, etc.  Reading this you will feel what Rock felt as he enterted into this contract. 

See what his pay scale was.  Of course he was very well compensated. 

What else to say other than it could be yours to read and own a piece of history.
