This was a letter to Rock's half-sister Alice, in regards to the heirs to Rock's father's estate after his death. Very personal family information.

Here is a fantastic letter from Rock Hudson's Mother to Colleen stating that she feels like a secretary and that she will be home in Newport Beach, Ca.  soon it is dated May 16, 1960.

This one is great!!!!

Here is a letter from Rock Hudson's Mother to Colleen on July 31, 1960 from Minnesota.  It says:

"Just a short note to let you know we will be home next weekend.  We had a rad trip across the country, buth thankful for the air conditioning in the car.  It was over 100 degrees in all places we stopped.  And yesterday was very cool and comfortable followed by thunderstorms and a lot of rain.  We will be glad to be back home.  Perhaps to get together again, but can always go to Newport Beach, where it is always delightful.  Be a good girl.  Now and you can relay this message to our darling".

Sincerely, Kay Olsen.

I may have read some of it wrong, as it is hard to read. 

But this is a wonderful, touching find where Mrs. Olsen refers to her son, Rock as "Our darling".

LETTER FROM ROCKS OLD GIRLFRIEND WITH COPYS OF LETTERS FROM ROCK

This is FANTASTIC!

Here is a letter from one of Rocks high school sweethearts to Rock ten years later.  She tells Rock that she is married and has 3 kids now.  She also sends to him copies of 3 letters he sent to her when he was in the military.  In those letters he states he wants pictures from her so she could be his pin up girl and that he is in love with her.   Picture A boy of 18 all alone at boot camp getting bruised and going through his training and just missing home and his girl.

This is an invoice  and a signed letter from Rocks mother stating that it was already paid.

She has signed the invoice as well.

HERE IS A WONDERFUL COLLECTION!!!

It is Rock Hudson's Navy collection.  What a wonderful piece of history.  It consists of many, many items.  From his Navy year book with his photo to his Navy class, and an extra large photograph.  It has his medical records, his honorable discharge papers, negatives and much more!!!

See how his mates felt about him with the signitures on the back of the large photograph of his class.
