Rock Hudson & Carol Burnett-Mementos From "I DO I DO"---This lot comes with 1.) A Picture  Program approximately  11" x 16" signed by Rock Hudson and by Carol Burnett "To Steve--XXX."  2.) A ticket stub for the June 13, 1973 performance at the California Theatre  562 West 4th St., San Bernardino, Ca.  3.) An Acrylic Cube from Rocks stage debut with a large "R" engraved into one side and a brass plate on the top, engraved "I DO I DO / 1973 / A.N.T.A. (American National Theatre and Academy) / Plumsted."  Carol Burnett asked Rock Hudson to star with her in the two-character musical, which chronicles 50 years of marriage.  The roles were originally created on Broadway by stars such as Mary Martin and Robert Preston.  The cube is probably from an out-of-town tryout in Plumstead, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

4. & 5.) This also Comes with TWO-Original-EMBOSSED FROM THE LIBRARY OF RH,  8" x 10" color photos from the event.

Rock loved Carol Burnett and Doing theatre. Also included is a Program from the Huntington Hartford Theatre.  People that saw them perform at these theatres probably have kept their programs.

I have not polished up the piece but it would polish up nicely.

These were Rocks personal, special mementos of these events.  Rock held these close.

This  lot is comprised of 1.) an Honorary Doctoral diploma and 2.)A Doctoral Hood. 3.) A copy of the citation that was read at the Commencement is his honor. 4.) A copy of the Commencement Program.  This Doctor of Fine Arts given to him by the City of Evanston, Illinois on June 8, 1965.  It is very similar to an award given to him for his Battle Hymn Publicity Tour (enclosed are some Photos). 5. - 9.) Premium Copies of the  rare photographs of Rock being given the Award.

Bronze 1982 International Film Festival of New York.  ROCK HUDSON had an Apartment in New York and spent alot of time there.  He loved that city and loved being part of it's Arts.

This is a wonderful find!!!

It is from the city of Los Angeles and was signed by Rex E. Layton-City Clerk and Joel Wachs-Councilman and has the city stamp.  It is in a nice folder.  It was given to Rock and extends its deepest sympthy to him over the passing of his mother.

This is a fun find.  When Rock was going to Africa and flying on Ehtiopian Airlines, he flew across the Equator and when you do you become a member of an elite club.  They present you with this document.  It also has the envelope it came in.  Rock was on his way to Kenya when he recieved this.  We also have his Kenyaian Drivers License.  This is a fun find.

Here is a fantastic, top quality book!!!

it is the 1961 Laurel Awards Special Edition book that is filled with the best of the best.   It shows who is the best dramatic actor, dramatic actress, comedic actor and actress, best director, best producer, best supporting actor and actress, and much, much more. 

FULL OF FUN STUFF!!

The photographs are excellent and the book for being 50 years old is in excellent condition. 

Measures:  12.25 x 9.25" and has 56 pages.

The fun part is that this copy was Rock Hudson's copy.  It is the one he looked through and at a peak in his career. 

Where ever he was seen or mentioned, he underlined it in red crayon pencil. 

Very personal, very collectable and great to see find.
