BANK BOOK / CHECK STUBS - VERY PERSONAL PART OF ROCK'S LIFE

Here is something I hope many of you will just love!!!

It is an approximate 7 x 10 inch bank book filled with check stubs and notes.  

It is from the period September 26, 1955 - December 31, 1955, with check's numbers 1501-1766 (actually 1800).

Most of the logs are in Rock's own hand, with some being from others.   You can see the difference. 

Stapled to the last page is an envelope filled with all Rock's deposit slips from the above period.

WHAT A GREAT~FANTASTIC FIND!!!!

I only include seven scans, but the book is about an inch thick.

with check's numbers # 1 - 300.

There are 32 checks, the monthly statement, any other paperwork and the envelope it all came in.  The checks are to various organizations or persons, are signed by Tom Clark (Rock's life partner), Rock's secretary, or his business manager.   Of course they are all endorsed on the reverse either by hand or stamp.

This is a great find!!!!

It is a three check set with the bank statement.  Here is where it gets good.....

One of the checks is issued to Claire Trevor and she signed it on the back!!!!!!

Claire was a great friend of Rock's.  As far as females goes, she came to Rock's home the last ten years of his life more than any other.  There are also two checks issued to KELLY KRISTEN, they are signed  by Tom Clark, Rock's life partner.  All three checks are issued from Mammoth Films, Inc., one of Rock's business's.

Claire's check is endorsed by her on the back which is very very collectable!!!
