He has been gone so long now that even those of us who really loved him have moved on, in a way, with our lives. In sorrow's place are the memories of that tall & handsome man who was so kind to his friends, who so loved his fans, who enjoyed life to its fullest. That is what I choose to remember now, Roy's twinkling eyes & his mischeivous smile, his deep voice & the way he could melt my insides.

When I look through this site & read about the various items & where Rock kept them in his house it is a bit like I am somehow there & in a way like he is still alive. The fact that I get to bring his possessions home & smell Rock's house & hold in my hand the tangible evidence of something from his life is truly amazing to me. Wouldn't it be great if, someday when we are gone, there was a friend like Martin Flaherty who will remember us to the rest of the world? Thanx Marty & Happy 87th Rock
