ROCK HUDSON - WROUGHT IRON FLOOR LAMPS - PAIR

These lamps are FABULOUS.  I had them professionally rewired and resocketed with the top of the line items. 

I am now adding the new photos that I took today, July 25th, 2014.  You can see Rock sitting next to one of them, with the other being on the other side of the couch.  These are very heavy, sturdy and in perfect condition.  The shades are in great shape but will need some restitching which I did not do as some like them as they are and have aged. 

I HAVE REWAXED THE TOPS AS WELL.  I REMEMBER THAT AT THE CASTLE, THIS WAS ONE OF MY DUTIES TO KEEP UP ON.

ALL I CAN SAY IS.....THESE LAMPS ARE CLASSY, A VERY VERY PERSONAL PART OF ROCK HUDSON'S WORLD AND VERY USEFUL!!!

They work as new.  Using only the best. 

  Tom Clark is sitting next to one of them.  Tom Clark was Rock Hudson's life partner.  In the page from the magazine you can see them next to the couches up by the fireplace.  Then in the last old photograph you can see another lamp somewhat up close.  The reason for this photo is that the shades are identical. 

They are spectacular lamps.  Much better than the photographer that day.  They are very old and originally were candelabras.  Converted years ago to lamps.  They are in many, many more photographs of Rock Hudson's home known as "The Castle".  Where he lived from 1962 till his passing in 1985 at 9402 Beverly Crest Dr. Beverly Hills, Ca. 92010
