Pair of Silver Wall Sconces with Planters Inside

Two silver sconces used by Hudson to hold plants.  16.5" in length, approximately 12" in height and 7" wide.  Each sconce contains an empty tin holder in which the plants were set  The back of one is coming loose.  Still attractive and usable, the sconces are accompanied  by a copy of a 1956 publicity photo of Rock Hudson and Phyllis Gates, to whom he was married 1955-1958.  the sconces are visible on the wall above them.  HEAVY.
