COUCH FROM "PILLOW TALK" AND ROCK'S LIVING ROOM!

HERE IS SOMETHING FANTASTIC!!!

This is one of the two couches from "Pillow Talk" with Doris Day.  

When Rock took Doris on his lap to do the infamous kissing scene, he was such a tall man that he dwarfed a regular 6' couch.  Through the magic of the movies, they had two of these couches custom built.   Much larger than ordinary couches.  This way, Rock, would look like a normal sized person rather than the 6'5" posture he dawned.   After the film was shot, he loved the couches so much that he asked for them and was given them. 

CORRECTION!!--There is no fading on the arms at all.  No matter what light I look at them in, sunlight or artificial light there is none.  It is just in the photos.

He had them immediately recovered.  Top-top-quality. 

He also had it converted from two large cushions to three cushions as it was so large it was ok to do so.

Though they are old, they are in excellent condition and smell wonderful. Not that old musty smell that happens to some furniture.  

The pillows are very heavy with down.  

This is a piece of top quality furniture.

This type of furniture lasts more than a lifetime!!!!

They are stuffed with down feathers and foam.

This is probably the most comfortable couch you will ever sit in!!!!
