This is a showman's manual from Rock Hudson's film "A GATHERING OF EAGLES",   with costars Rod Taylor, Mary Peach and Barry Sullivan.

It is in good condition and open it measures 18" x 24".

A very personal and wonderful find. It is straight from the files of Rock Hudson.

This is a bag that Rock traveled with out of town on films. 

While out of town on a film, he would keep his script/holder and updates, call sheets, crew lists, etc in this bag.   It is expandable.  In the photos I show both sides and the inside.

DOG WHISTLE - NO COVER

This is a dog whistle. It is made in Japan and is 2.7" long.  We all know that Rock loved animals and espically dogs.  All his dogs were professionally trained.  Many of the commands were with the whistle.  He loved his dogs and they loved him back.  You should have seen the way they would turn their heads in confusion with the whistle.

FABULOUS PINK VASE

This is such a fun piece.   It is a pink blown glass vase.  It measures about 4.5" in dia. and about 3" high.  It does have a stamp type of marking on the bottom but I don't know what company makes it.

Folding Chess Set with 32 Playing Pieces

Folding chess set with 32 playing pieces.  A part of Rock Hudsons game inventory for decades.  He owned this set  when he lived in his New Port Beach Home in the 1950's and in his Hollywood Hills Home during the early 1950's (as seen in the photograph). 

In photograph the Chess Set is on the table to the left.  He played on this set, everyone that was willing to play.  Think of who has used this set.  A large number of "A-LIST" people.

HIDDEN COMPARTMENT BOX

This is fun!!!

It is one of those "puzzle to open" type of boxes with tons of inlay all over every side.  It is in pretty good condition, but, the secret compartment works great!

It measures roughly 6" x 4" x 2" closed.  It has a few minor chips on it, you can see in the photos.  But overall it is in great shape.  Once again the glue stickem stuff on the side with the fruit, came off with my thumb.

These items I am putting on ebay and my site have been in boxes, unpacked, for decades.   I am pulling things out that have newspaper around them from the 1970"s, 1960"s and even the 50"s and 40"s.   It is a treasure hunt for sure.
