ALISON PLUMBING CO.

This is a three piece set from Alison Plumbing Co.  for overhauling Rock's furnace controls.  It is dated in January, February and March of 1964.   Finding these receipts that coinside with birthdates, anniversarys or some other event in your life, make them very fun to frame and have as collectables.

Here is a receipt for a thorough house cleaning at the Castle.  If you look at the date, it is right after Thanksgiving.  No doubt cleaning up from one of Rock's infamous holiday parties.  Note the hourly wages back in the 1960's.

Aronson Rug Service

This a beautiful and attractive receipt to Rock for cleaning of a rug at his home in Beverly Hills, Ca.   I love it, though Rock had married in the mid-1950's for 3 years, he was long divorced.  If you look at the receipt it is sold to:  Mrs. R. Hudson.

They are directly from his file cabinet.   I add items like this to appeal to people that can't afford the more expensive items.   Getting this, you do get a piece of Rock Hudson.  Since I do issue C.O.A.'s, this adds provenance.  This paperwork was important enough to Rock that he held onto it for 20 years, give or take,  till his passing.  Now, 48 plus years old, it is very collectable.

This is from the file cabinet of Rock Hudson.  It is a receipt for 8 Russwin sprayed bronze fire exit devices for 4 pair in-active doors.   It was a donation from Rock and shows more of his generosity.

Here is a fun find. 

It is a complete file that came from the file cabinet of Rock Hudson. 

It is about items shipped and letters from the shippers.  Rock was out of town so one of the bills is signed by George Nader where he was sent the items and had to sign for.

This file is just the way I found it.

BERRY LEDDEN RIFE & ASSOC. - ROCK'S DECK BY HIS POOL

THIS IS GREAT!!!!

 It is a proposan and contract of agreement to draw up the plans for the deck to be built by Rock Hudson's pool.   It was a wonderful deck.   I was incharge of it's maintenance and over the years spread gallons of boiled lindseed oil on it, kept it tight and neat and painted the wrought iron black many times.
