Here is a wonderful Sun Dial with wonderful Patina.  Measures 7.5" in diameter.  Rock had this out by his pool on his wooden deck overhanging his hillside.  The part that sticks up is broken and has been since Rock had it.  It still tells time with it's shadow.

Where the gnomon was (the part that casts the shadow), there remains a bit of a stub which still casts a bit of a shadow. But this would make a  one-of-a-kind deck or yard ornament you could brag about to all your friends while out cooking on your grill!
