This is a letter from the Governor of the State of Illinois, Otto Kerner back in 1967 signed. It was written to Rock asking him to be part of the 150th year of statehood celebration.  Rock was born in Winnetka, Ill. making it his home state.  By 1967 Rock Hudson was a hugh star.  Also included is the RSVP letter.   Rock stated  in the RSVP letter that he would come.
