This is the shipping bill of lading and insurance certificate for shipping a bath tub and fittings to Rock Hudson's home in Beverly Hills, Ca.

Here is the story....

Rock loved England and his favorite place to stay was the Savoy Hotel there.  He was 6'5"(contrary to what you have read) and his big frame did not fit into many bath tubs.  It did however, fit into the large four legged old fashioned style at the hotel.  He told the concierge how much he loved their baths and asked if he could get ahold of one.  

They said yes that they would GIVE him one of theirs.   So they crated it up and shipped it off.   He had it installed into his home ASAP.
