This is a letter from Jerome Lawrence to Rock asking if they could write a play specificly tailored for Rock. He wrote from his housboat in Kashmir and told Rock he could cut his teeth on Broadway with this one. Jerome Lawrence and Jerry Herman co-wrote Mame among others.
